Less than a year left to access ESF fully funded training…

There is now less than a year left to access training through  the North East Workforce Skills Programme, a multi-million European Social Fund (ESF) project led by the University of Sunderland.

Launched in September 2021, the North East Workforce Skills Programme is an ESF funded project worth nearly £15 million.  The project aims to level up workforce skills to support over 17,500 employees across the Tyne and Wear and Northumberland area by September 2023.

The North East Workforce Skills Programme supports employers to access the tools they need to upskill their workforce through the consortium’s diverse training offer. Led by the University of Sunderland the consortium of Further and Higher Education providers in the North East includes Access Training Limited, MTC Training, Newcastle College, SETA and TDR Training.

Consortium partners are offering a wide range of training from basic skills to Level 7 both accredited and non accredited. Courses include:

  • Leadership and Management including Managing Conflict, Leading and Managing Change, Project Management Fundamentals and Problem Solving and Making Informed Decisions etc.
  • Business Support including Finance for Non Finance Professionals courses, Mental Health First Aider, Role of a mentor, Understanding Your Customers etc.

Last Chance!

As we are in the final year of the project we have a few courses that have a larger time commitment that we will not be able to offer soon, for example the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) courses, which take 7 months to complete.

If you are interested in studying the CMI Level 3 Certificate in Principles of Management and Leadership or CMI Level 5 Certificate in Principles of Management and Leadership you should contact MTC asap to access these fully funded: sales@mtc-training.co.uk.
